"Worms & Wormeries Direct"

We manufacturer and supply many different sizes and types of wormeries direct.  We also breed a number of different kinds of worm ie: Tiger, Dendrobaena, Meal Worms, White Worms, plus we stock a limited amount of Earth Worms.

What is a Wormery? A wormery is a container/ worm house that contains worms for composting. And composting worms differ from your  normal garden worm, because they eat and live on decaying foods and organic waste.

And it is suggested, that the right size of wormery could reduce your household and garden waste be around 80 percent, so it's a great and green way of recycling instead of dumping all your waste into land file sites.

What can you put into a wormery for composting?  More or less any of your kitchen and gardening waste like, peelings, cooked and uncooked vegetable scaps, tea bags, crushed egg shell/line for calcium and also the egg box's, paper kitchen towel, even shredded news paper and cardboard, garden waste, moss, leafs, old flowers and plants, some grass cuttings, sea weed, pasta/rice, old bread and cakes, but not creamy or sticky ones etc.  But worms don't welcome; meat, bones, fish, dairy products, h4 foods such as garlic, dod and cat food or geasy foods, orrange or lemon peel, or onions etc.  But don't over feed your worms, its best to wait until they have eaton everything before adding any further food waste.  If possible, try to shred everything, or break it into small pieces, as it will help the worms make compost sooner, rather than later.

Owning a Wormery, is also a great way of producing your own Plant Food and very High Quality Super-Rich Compost, Fishing Bait, Hedgehog and Wild Bird food etc, so it makes good sense to own a wormery, and all Balconies, Flats, Houses and Business that produces waste should have one.  And we think, that once Local Authorities start charging everybody for disposing of there waste, then wormeries will become more appreciated and prices will increase. So you never have to purchase Plant Food or Quality Rich Compost again!

Wormeries do not Smell, and could be placed in any corner of your garden, behind the shed, or on balconies, or anyplace of between 2 feet squire for small ones, and around 4 feet squire for larger ones, so everybody should have one.  So start thinking Green, and think about helping the environment for your children's tomorrow.

We also have Childrens "Starter Wormeries" available, which is a great way of teaching your children all about recycling, and how worms help.  One of our best sellers is the "Fishermen's Wormery", as they have ready made fresh fishing bait available at anytime, plus many of these fishingmen also sell their extra worms to mates, fishing tackle and pet shops etc, what a nice little earner.  And don't forget, that you can also sell the very rich high quality compost and liquor plant food that the worms produce as well.
